Before i start, just a little disclaimer-
I'm sorry if anybody takes this post as a source of bragging, because honestly it really isn't!
(i know the majority, like i do, just like to be a little nosey on other peoples lives or base there presents on ideas for yourself when sale shopping, but.. there could be some people who may take it the wrong way? Luckily I've never seen it on my blog, because you're all so lovely! But i have seen it quite often on others (moreso on utube)
(Sorry if this sort of post does bother people, i really don't mean it! I just think of it as another haul like post?)
The gifts above were from my little sister.
The glitter top was a present i knew about.. We were in the UO in London and i literally begged her to grab it for me for christmas, haha! The Glitter Crop still Available Online. The earrings were in the UO sale, which i couldn't find online, sorry!
And the little tripod is so cute! i can now set up blog pictures on my in the kitchen without bugging my sister (a clever present on her behalf!)
.
.
.
The rest of the presents are from my parents
I've got to give it to them, they're so flippin' great at present buying!!
Now I'm not really a music fan unless it's some 'gangster rap'; a bit of kanye, jay z, eminem (ganster-ish)But i love love love Ellie and Rhianna so super happy with these!
And the two nailvarnish's are so lovely, the burgundy one called 'thorn' and the blue glitter called 'junkyard' by Louise Gray. Both aren't available online anymore but i'm pretty sure you can get them in store.. and the compact mirror came with the blue varnish, it's so pretty!
Now these braclets come up rather big in size, i had to remove most of the links and still the gold chains have to be worn over a long sleeved piece of clothing (just to pre-worn anyone thinking of buying them!)
I also nearly bought both of these before christmas, but then my mum suggested putting myself on a jewellry ban, i now see why!
This necklace has to be my favourite necklace, ever!
(i did think the crosses may be a bit too much) but then when i tried it one, well...!
It's from NastyGal but i can't find it online, but they're so many similiar ones on there!
The little cross bracelet was from my sister too, i forgot to add that in the first picture, it was from UO i think!
And so was the hand chain above, my dad actually purchased this for me, so hats off to him!
The purse, from Topshop.. I've never owned a 'grown up' purse before to put my cards in etc, so I'm so happy with that!
And the gift cards, one from my Grandma and the other from my Auntie and Unlce xx
Now i honestly thought my JC (below) were going to be my main present (i chose them btw..)
and then this bad boy turns up! I never understood ipads, they're just a larger version of the iphone?
BUT.. i've changed my mind! I love it to pieces! It's so handy to use and 10000000x faster than my laptop!
(please excuse the mucky fingerprints, i need to grab a plaster cover for it!)
How gorgeous are these?! Now the photo doesn't do them justice, they're so pretty, so festive! (but I'll wear them all year round!)
The velvet is so soft and ahhhh just so cute! My parents bought these from Nastygal because I'm a 5.5 in JC's and i can't find a uk site that sell them in half sizes?..
My mum knows I'm a 'velvet kinda girl', so such an amazing present choice!!
She bought it for me to wear under the see through dress (below) but I'm also going to substitute it as a top too..
It's from topshop, i think it's sold out, but they have a similar one in the sale at the moment- here
This is what i wore on christmas day, it's so sparkly!! It's quite oversized, which i really like and the sheer makes it so interesting! I think my mum bought this off UO..
Ooh the brand is Evil Twin btw!
The amount of jokes my dad makes about this shorts..about definitely being my grandads granddaughter (he's scottish) etc..
But they're just not funny, haha! I love these shorts, no matter what he says!
They're highwaisted and i love that the zip detailing it at the front! They're from Topshop :)
more velvet, woohoo! Love these, and they're so perfect/comfy to wear to sixth-form!
-Topshop
I don't think i own anything green, why not?!
These are so lovely, festive too
! It's like a christmas tradition for my mum to buy me a pair of shorts for christmas, love them, thanks mum! -Asos
How long are these trousers? They go on and on and on..
Now I'm not that short.. (5'5 and a half) and these are long on me!
A turn up is necessary.. I think my parents bought these riding pants in the AA sale?
(if you look at the selection of 'oops we made too many'),
you can also get 15% off when you sign up! Now i don't know whether it's because it's christmas time but the xs seem so much smaller than the disco pants xs?
Is it just me? but never the less I'll breath in/hold my breath and risk collapsing to wear these haha!
Now i did get some wellies to go with the box!
But they're in the garage and already filthy!
And i couldn't find them online.. but they're short black with grey studs.. I'll post a picture up as soon as i can!
Now i feel my dad is responsible for these two items..
The socks, because i always steal his thick ones off him to wear with wellies..
and the pig/hot water bottle, because i always complain I'm cold, haha!.
And that is all the presents from my parents..
They always go so out there at christmas, and honestly i love everything and love them so much, they're grafters you know! Work so hard for us, and I'm forever grateful!!!
.
.
These two gifts are from my lovely neighbors, hiya! (I know they sometimes read my blog)
I love them so much, and the slipper socks are so cosy and warm!
Now these two pieces are from my crazy aunt and uncle, we all have one right? They're crazy as in joking about, you dare them to do something and they'll do it, they're always the ones you want to run away from in public because they're more like 5 year olds!
Love them so much though! And with wacky characteristics comes wacky presents!
The left one is an ice scraper for my car, it's so cute! and the right is a magnet photo frame, from the store octopus in cambridge? such a cute shop! (but i think it's changed it's name now?)
.
.
.
My other two grandparents gave me money along with family friends (because of distance etc, some live abroad..)
So I'll have a successful shopping trip in London on Sunday *hopefully*
ooh! I also received a 'Sanctuary Spa' gift set and a zebra onsie!!! (but i'm wearing it now so i couldn't take a picture)
It has a cute little tail (which fudge keeps chasing and chewing!)
I hope everyone had an amazing christmas, and i hope everyone has an amazing new year!!!
Love the asos chain bracelets, lucky lucky girl xxx

Don't feel bad about posting pictures, you shouldn't need a disclaimer :) I know what you mean though, jealous people can often turn into bitches when it comes to showing off presents, especially on Youtube as you said! But it's not like we're posting designer handbags and Louboutins is it? Just normal presents! You got some lovely bits, lucky girl! Hope you had a lovely Christmas, and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteLucy xx
Aw thanks, but i just didn't want to annoy anyone haha!
DeleteTrue! I think I'd be dissapointed if i recieved Louboutins, i hate the wretched things haha! But a chanel quilted bag, that i wouldn't mind! But yes joeks aside i know what you mean, thanks for this message, it's made me worry less, haha! I know, too lucky! Love the presents you got too, expecially the satchel!! Your parents have such good taste! hahaha love the bodysuit so much & the paisley leggings too! Happy new years :-)
ReplyDeleteMore so my mum haha! If my dad picked out some clothes it would be a knitted jumper dress in orange or something haha! Thanks, happy new year to you too! x
DeleteCAN I BE YOU OMG i wish people would buy me something in my wishlist even just a pair of cute soscks
ReplyDelete:S
Deleteoh no don't say that! x
Love everything!!! Do you know how much the customs charges are form nasty gal for JC's by any chance, sooooo desperate to make an order from there! xx
ReplyDeleteI think my dad said it was £30 customs but i also had a necklace in the order too which was £15's so i guess the shoes alone would be around £20 for customs? And the prices at nastygal are £100 so including customs that's £120, just like it would be to purchase a pair from Office (not including delivery charge) and nastygal have such a larger collection to choose form/they always have them on sale too!
DeleteAnother good place is dollsboutique, they have a sale where Lita's are £90 but there's only the standard black sueded and taupe sort of ones left in that sale..
x
ahhh you got so many amazing goodies! I love my ipad to bits ha it replaces my laptop most of the time! x
ReplyDeleteSame here, it's so much faster than my old little thing, and i could spend hours upon hours on apps, aha! x

S xx
I personally love reading these kind of posts (hauls and gifts are too fun!)
ReplyDeleteThat is so thoughtful of you to put a disclaimer, even though I think most people would know that you just want to simply show some new stuff and these are the lovely people you want to be with rather than some who are just plain ignorant and unfair, who will bitch around criticising everything. I think I've said too much haha.
But anyway, we share the same thoughts - before owning an iPad I used to think it was just a total waste of money. The shoes are amazing, I've always wanted a pair of JC's myself.
Oh good! Ah it's ok, i just didn't want to give the wrong impression haha!
DeleteAnd know i'm hooked on it, too many great games, haha!
Thankyou! They really are worth the saving, such comfortable shoes! x
Wow you were well and truly spoiled!! What a wonderful lot of Christmas presents!! That Topshop dress is gorgeous xx
