Topshop Lust

with being ill there is only a certain amount of daytime tv you can put up with..

so i decided to waste time flicking through Topshop..

with owning a couple of pounds to my name at this moment of time it turned out to some sort of torture..

Everything is just so perfect..

At first i wasn't really a fan of the new pastel craze.. 

I related it to a kawaii style and thought it definitely wasn't me!

But as the weeks have passed I've fallen head-over-heels for these colors..

To an extent that I have based my final art GCSE on pastel colors; everything is just so pretty, so fresh, ready for spring!

I've always been a 'gold colored jewelry girl' too, but I'm sitting on the edge of rose gold too (it's such an unusual color for jewelry, when i receive my wages i must stock up on some items including this color!)

Now you must think all i ever seem to talk about and wear is Topshop? 

And that isn't really the case. I just feel that this shop really provides a good quality of clothing, and that for a little 16 year old like me, it's affordable..

Ok so I really can't wait for next week..

My fingers are tingling now with excitement! I'll be exam free for 10 weeks! 10 weeks, wow! I keep thinking of all the time i can finally put into this blog..

All these promised outfit posts..

A parcel arrived addressed to me today, how exciting!

With such cute wrapping, and tagged with beautiful 'french like' writing i didn't want to unwrap it and spoil the presentation...

Held within this parcel were these cute little earring, infact two cute little birds.

They're perfect sizing and such a bold colour, a statement piece to an outfit,

Maybe because it was cold, but i really can't explain my facial expressions..

It's that time of the month again (no. not what you're thinking..)

I mean.. 'it's Vogue time baby!'

March's layout, personally, i felt was dull..

They have lovely evening gowns (any of which i would die for, to purchase for prom) and the front page being Lana Del Rey; where there couldn't be a better female soloist at the moment, besides Florence.. 

But i miss the pastel colours..

I also became shocked with the image of the topshop model..

Now, is it me, but are the models in magazines, in general, becoming thinner and thinner..

I know you're probably thinking, well they aren't models if they don't have to 'perfect figure' ...

but this girl needs some meat on her back..

A few years back, models and weight were an issue, and this spread seems to be seeping back into that way?

Don't get me wrong, a beautiful girl displaying a beautiful dress, but she'd be just as pretty with a pound or two extra..

And a sneaky picture of a collage I'm working on for school, it's a tedious process, based on fantasy and weird images, it's only a basic outline at the moment (only stuck with blue tack) but slowly and surely, with a double lesson of art tomorrow, I'll get it complete..

p.s.. I know i promised some more 'street style' and i asked my friend for the pictures today, but she deleted them.. So next time I'm in  town I'll be sure to take some with my own camera, hey, it might even be a repeating occurrence..

( some new goggles for next sunday, there pretty much the same design as last time, but different lens, my others broke, i didn't want to replace them, i couldn't part with them, 

so i bought their twins, an idea that my dad wasn't to happy about..)

Excuses: So my blog has been neglected due to the fact that January hasn't been too kind to me. I know, all this moaning, but it my reason for poor posting and absence.. Too many deadlines to deal with, and art is driving me up the wall.. But one more week and then a week off to relax, a week i can not wait for. 

I'm longing for summer already, one because I've found some beautiful clothes i wish to purchase, but two, good riddance to school! I know I'll have sixth form, but surely it will be different, with only four subjects, and no more art, anything can be better..

Good news: I've got an interview with a sixth form i applied for on Monday, so that means they're considering me i think? I don't know where to go yet, and i know i have to decided soon, but the decision is hard! 

Exams: My french exam as been suspended for 20 days, how amazing is that? And i also given my exam sheet yesterday, only 13 official exams left!

When am i starting to blog properly? Well hopefully I'll do a lookbook post on friday and do one for advance for Sunday or Monday-ish... And then I'll post up the other 'street style' pictures, and after that, some pictures from my holiday..

It's -27 at the moment, yes, you read right, I'm going to freeze to death! I don't own any suitable clothes for that weather, oh gosh..

Well, i hope January's was good to you, now lets embrace February, the month of love? Oh i don't know, it just sounded ok, hope you have a lovely rest of the week, we're more than half-way there until the weekend, woo!
